Hands On Verbal Behavior Training
Friday, Aug. 20 to Saturday, Aug. 21
This two day workshop will provide advanced training to parents and other professionals who already possess a basic to intermediate understanding of applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior. Attendance at the Marcus Autism Center Language and Learning Clinic’s workshop An Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal Behavior is required to attend. Participants must attend both days.
During the workshop, participants will be guided and participate in hands on instruction in:
- Errorrless teaching procedures
- Teaching procedures for each of the verbal operants
- Program and target selection based on the ABLLS-R for their particular learner
- Program set up (data sheets, data collection techniques)
- Data collection, recording, graphing and analysis
Where: Marcus Autism Center
When: Friday, Aug. 20, and Saturday, Aug. 21; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: $200 per person; add $50 for one additional attendee participating for same child
